Jayla Koriyan Pitch

(Originial Correspondence sent July 2019)

Hi Jayla,

I hope you are having a great day so far!

I’ve been following your journey from North Carolina to New York and the strides you have made recently have been nothing short of greatness. Your growth from what we’ve seen via your social media and YouTube channel was not something that happened overnight but something that should be celebrated all the same.

I’m reaching out on behalf of Power in Pink’s upcoming event, My Sister’s Keyp’her Kickback on Saturday, August 10th (12pm - 4pm) in Brooklyn NY’s Prospect Park. The event is the first installment under Power In Pink's new event company, My Sister's Keyp'her, and will create a safe, intimate, space for women of color (millennials to early 40s) to relax under the sun, and engage in activities that spark conversation about balancing "trying to have it all" with self-care, uplifting one another and the power of networking/mentorship.

We are inviting you to share your experiences as a young, black, self-employed entrepreneur & content creator because it can provide valuable insight into our conversations and activities about mental health, self-care, and defining success. We hope that you and your peers can bring your favorite snacks, drinks, blankets/lawn chairs and join us for a much-needed day of relaxation and reflection.

If you are interested and available in attending My Sister’s Keyp’her Kickback on August 10th, please let us know by Wednesday, July 31st. We’ll be sure to create a custom flyer for you to share with your platform if you’d like and highlight your brand during the event.  It would not only be an honor but a pleasure to have you share your story!

Thank you for your consideration! We look forward to hearing your decision.

Best,
